If we ask you if you know the most popular stadiums in Spain, obviously you all know them, but Spain has hundreds of stadiums, and you might not have seen the less famous ones. Here are some amazing stadiums in Spain that every football enthusiast should visit to know.

Reino de León

Small, aesthetic and 100% covered, this stadium is a small miracle of 13,346 seats.
Estadio Municipal Reino de León is a football stadium located in León, in the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. It is the home stadium of Cultural Leonesa.

Estadio Las Gaunas

Estadio Las Gaunas is located in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain. The stadium holds 16,000 spectators and was opened on 28 February 2002. It is the home ground of Segunda División club UD Logroñés and Primera División women’s team EDF Logroño.

Mendizorrotza Stadium

Opened on April 27, 1924, it is currently the third oldest football stadium in Spanish professional football, after El Molinón and Mestalla.

During its history, the stadium has undergone several renovations. The most important was the expansion made in 1999, creating new stands in the corners to increase the capacity of the stadium to the current 19,840 seats.

Power Horse Stadium

A small stadium but perfect for the shape and atmosphere on match days – Power Horse Stadium has a capacity of 17,400 seats.Inaugurated on 31 July 2004 and originally built for the 2005 Mediterranean Games, the stadium cost around €21 million, which was paid for by the Ayuntamiento de Almería. It then became the home stadium of UD Almería, replacing the Estadio Municipal Juan Rojas, with the latter being used by the reserve team.

El Molinón

With a capacity of 29,371 seats, El Molinón is the oldest professional football ground in Spain. It has been in use since 1908, and is located on the site of an old water mill, hence the stadium’s name, the Spanish word for “big mill”.

Estadio Riazor

Estadio ABANCA-RIAZOR is the home of Deportivo de La Coruña, and accommodates a total of 32,660 spectators, making it the 13th-largest stadium in Spain and the largest in Galicia.

Estadio Enrique Roca

A little investment in maintenance would make it one of the most beautiful stadiums in Spain – Estadio Enrique Roca with a capacity of 31,179 seats makes it the 16th largest stadium in Spain and the largest in the Region of Murcia. Nueva Condomina replaced La Condomina Stadium as Real Murcia’s home ground.
