FC Barcelona is planning to return to playing at Camp Nou in about four and a half months. Despite restrictions on construction schedules, significant progress has been made recently with the installation of the first beams forming the initial ring of the new VIP boxes as reported by Sportive World.
This exclusive area will be located between the second and third tiers, starting from the Goal Sud zone. While it will take some time before this section is fully completed, the club’s construction timeline indicates that 50% of the VIP boxes should be ready by November, aligning with the anticipated return to the stadium. By the end of the year, the first and second tiers are also expected to be finished, accommodating up to 65,000 fans. Additionally, the structure of the third tier and the operational museum should be in place.
By August 2025, the third tier’s structure should be 90% complete, along with 90% of the VIP boxes and 100% of the 360-degree cover, including the inauguration of the new Camp Nou shop. In the final year of construction, 2026, the stadium is expected to be fully completed, accommodating a total of 105,000 spectators. FC Barcelona is confident that it will meet these deadlines and gradually return to normality after a season away from home.
