El Salvador is building one of the most modern stadiums in the region, the Estadio Nacional de El Salvador. This ambitious project aims to replace the Estadio Cuscatlán as the home of the national team and bring a new infrastructure for sports and major events.

Construction of the stadium began in recent months and is expected to be completed in 2028. With a capacity of 50,000 spectators, it will be one of the largest arenas in Central America. The project is being financed by the Chinese government at a cost of around $500 million.

In addition to the main pitch, the stadium will also have additional facilities such as a hotel, auditorium, administrative offices and other sports areas. This major investment will transform not only football in El Salvador, but also the organization of international events in the country.
