The new Nike home and away uniforms that England’s national teams will be sporting starting in 2024 have been unveiled.
As one might imagine, the home shirt is white with a slight dark blue collar with a vertical design running across it. The shorts’ blue trim and the sleeves’ design are reminiscent of vintage England tracksuits and training gear from over the years. White socks are worn.
The away uniform, which is different from the customary red or blue, comes in a striking purple colorway that is sure to cause controversy. The whimsical graphic side panels come in seven different colors, with gold accents on the Three Lions badge and the Nike “swoosh.”
The first time England’s men will wear the uniforms is in March as they get ready for friendlies at Wembley against Brazil and Belgium. These will also be the team’s uniforms for the summer tournament in Germany, Euro 2024. When the Lionesses play Sweden in April to start their European Championship qualifying as holders, it will be their first game together.
