And even after playing football for over 20 years, he continues to follow a rigorous recovery schedule following games.
Ronaldo posted a photo of himself in a device designed by health company Erakulis, lying down with his legs up.
Moreover, he included the brief caption, “Recharging.”
On social media, however, people were more focused on the Portugal captain’s feet.
He was lying in front of a swimming pool at the opulent St Regis in Saudi Arabia, and they looked bruised and swollen.
One fan commented on the picture, saying, “Look at his feet man, imagine the pain everyday.”
Another stated: “22 years of pro footy man look at his feet.. he wakes up with crazy pain everyday for sure.”
Another responded, “This is worse than LeBron [James], wow, I heard he used to wear super tight boots too.”
In response, a fourth person said, “His big toes are screaming for help.”
Ronaldo joined Manchester United in 2003 after leaving Sporting Lisbon, and he has participated in at least 35 club games in each of the last 21 seasons.
He recently surpassed 1,000 games at the club level and has more than 200 caps for Portugal.
He joined Al-Nassr in the middle of the 2022–2023 season and has already scored 50 goals in 58 games.
However, it appears like he will have to wait much longer to win a Saudi Pro League championship as his team currently sits in second place in the standings, 12 points behind leaders Al-Hilal.
Al-Hilal recently won 28 straight games across all competitions, setting a new world record for consecutive victories.
