Today, in the late afternoon, the lawyers for the Portuguese champion and the Juventus club will file their final briefs in the arbitration for the infamous 19.5 million euros that CR7 believes he is owed as arrears of the second salary maneuver (2020/21 season). Juve, for its part, has no intention of complying with the current Al Nassr striker’s demands, ensuring that Cristiano himself has already given up the disputed four months’ wages when moving to Manchester United. CR7, predictably, rejects the thesis.

Ronaldo resorted to arbitration in June, and the trial phase has been ongoing for several months due to formal squabbles. With the filing of the two parties’ final briefs, there would be only one more hearing in January before the Arbitration Board’s decision in April.
