Not every stadium needs to be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. Some of the world’s most iconic venues simply need modern upgrades, smarter use of space, and thoughtful architectural interventions to shine again.

In this first collection, we present 12 redesigned stadium concepts from around the world — created not by engineers or architectural firms, but by passionate stadium enthusiasts. Our goal is simple:
revitalize historic venues while preserving the soul that makes them special.

These redesigns focus on roofs, facades, bowl improvements, commercial areas, and fan experience — always respecting tradition, identity, and the architectural character of each stadium.

Here are 12 stadiums reimagined for a new era, without sacrificing the history they carry.

New Sevilla Stadium Concept

1. Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium – Sevilla, Spain

Sevilla’s iconic fortress receives a sophisticated modern refresh.
Our redesign smooths the exterior lines, introduces a full roof structure, and updates the facades while keeping the unmistakable identity of the Pizjuán intact.

Although an official project exists, this concept explores a cleaner, more elegant modernization that respects its history while preparing it for the future.

New Parma Stadium Concept

2. Ennio Tardini Stadium – Parma, Italy

Parma’s beloved Tardini is redesigned with a complete transformation of its seating bowl.
Our concept closes the corners, adds a 100% covering roof, and rebuilds the external facade into a modern, unified structure.
The result: a classic Italian stadium reborn with contemporary comfort and atmosphere.

New San Siro Stadium Concept

3. Stadio San Siro – Milan, Italy

Instead of demolition, this concept imagines a full modernization of one of football’s greatest stadiums.
A redesigned roof, reinforced stands, new concourses, modernized facades, and commercial areas — similar to the Bernabéu transformation — breathe fresh life into the cathedral of Milanese football.
San Siro can be saved, and this concept shows how.

New Herndon Stadium concept

4. Alonzo Herndon Stadium – Atlanta, USA

Once abandoned, this 15,000-seat stadium is reimagined as a vibrant community venue.
Modern stands, updated facilities, and improved access transform it into a multi-use space for football, American football, events, and youth sports.
A forgotten stadium becomes a neighborhood asset once again.

New Palermo Stadium concept

5. Renzo Barbera Stadium – Palermo, Italy

Barbera has enormous potential — strong structure, great location, and enough surrounding space for expansion.
Our redesign modernizes the facade, upgrades the interior bowl, and adds a new roof that elevates the stadium to full UEFA international standards.
A historic Sicilian venue reborn for modern football.

New Fenerbahce Stadium concept

6. Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium – Istanbul, Türkiye

Fenerbahçe’s home has long discussed renovation plans.
In our concept, the stadium receives a sleek new roof, a modern facade with clean lines, upgraded seating, and a refreshed interior look.
Minimal interventions, maximum impact — a legendary Turkish stadium brought into a new era.

7. Georgi Asparuhov Stadium – Sofia, Bulgaria

Levski’s historic home is rebuilt with respect.
The main stand — a cultural landmark — remains untouched, while three brand-new stands form a modern football bowl.
A new roof and commercial spaces operating seven days a week give the club the financial boost it needs for long-term growth.

New Sao Paulo Stadium concept

8. Estádio do Morumbi – São Paulo, Brazil

Morumbi has the potential to be a world-class stadium again.
Our redesign removes the athletics track, lowers the pitch, and brings the stands closer to the action.
A new roof completes the transformation, turning this iconic venue into a modern arena ready for major international events.

New Ibrox Stadium concept

9. Ibrox Stadium – Glasgow, Scotland

Ibrox is one of football’s most historic homes — and must be treated with care.
In this concept, the historic stands remain untouched, while the side stands are extended and connected.
A new roof system unifies the structure, increasing capacity and comfort without compromising the identity that makes Ibrox sacred.

New Napoli Stadium concept

10. Diego Armando Maradona Stadium – Naples, Italy

This redesign reflects the passion of Napoli and its city.
The running track is removed, the pitch is lowered, and new seats are added closer to the field, dramatically improving atmosphere and capacity.
Modern hospitality, retail spaces, and a clean new roof transform the old bowl into a lively, modern home for Napoli fans.

New Wolves Stadium concept

11. Molineux Stadium – Wolverhampton, England

Home of Wolves since 1889, Molineux has enormous potential.
Our concept raises its capacity from 32,000 to around 40,000 by adding corner stands, enlarging the single-tier structure, and upgrading hospitality zones.
The classic English identity stays — but with more power, presence, and flexibility.

New Metife Stadium concept

12. MetLife Stadium – New Jersey, USA

What if MetLife finally had a roof?
Our concept introduces a huge, modern fully retractable roof, instantly transforming the stadium into a year-round venue.
No weather issues, improved acoustics, and a dramatic new look would make MetLife one of the world’s top multi-event arenas.

These redesign concepts show that stadiums don’t always need demolition to evolve — sometimes they simply need vision, respect for tradition, and smart modern upgrades.
From Italy to Brazil, Scotland to Türkiye, each of these venues has the potential to become a world-class modern stadium without losing the history that makes it special.

This is only Part 1, and many more concepts are on the way.
Stadiums deserve a second life — and we’re here to imagine it.
